In ‘reVerb’ you journey across a mysterious landscape of flying verbs, nouns and adjectives in an endless quest to reach the horizon.
Your main aim is to keep moving forward. To do this you will need to maintain stamina by collecting energy cubes. Not just any energy cube will suffice - only cubes which are verbs will refill your Stamina Meter.
Avoid all cubes that aren’t verbs and other obstacles to travel further than ever before and top the leaderboards, but watch out - some words can function as both verbs and nouns. An example is the word ‘book’ which can be a noun (“I am reading a book”) or a verb (“I need to book a taxi”). You ARE allowed to catch these cubes!
This entry into the “infinite runner” genre will test both your vocabulary and your reflexes.
*INTUITIVE CONTROLS*
Tilt your device to steer towards, and catch verbs or steer away from obstacles.
*EXHILARATING GAME-PLAY*
The further you travel, the faster you will move, giving you less and less time to work out what is (and what isn’t) a verb!
*GAME CENTRE INTEGRATED*
Compete against your friends and the rest of the world for high scores and the longest distance travelled.
*INFINITELY REPLAYABLE*
Never play the same game twice thanks to randomly generated levels.
*TRACK YOUR STATS*
See how far you have travelled and what you have encountered along the way.
‘ReVerb’ is not a decontextualised drilling game - to work out whether a word is a verb you have to mentally contextualise it. The further you travel, the harder this becomes!
